Uptown Wine Club Annual Membership

CoCo Noir Wine Shop & Bar is launching their new Uptown Wine Club.

To kick off our wine club, we are featuring J. Moss Wines by founder Jay Moss.

In this month's wine club, our wine team along with J. Moss and his team selected 2 amazing wines from his wine portfolio.

2018 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

This lush medium to full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon has ample layers of bright fruits

including blackberries, plums, and cherries with hints of dark chocolate and toasted cedar. It has a nice structure, and tannins and is a well-balanced wine with a long, enjoyable finish.

2021 Atlas Peak Chardonnay

The 2021 Chardonnay is of high quality and low-yield vineyards. It was one of Napa's earliest, smallest volume vintages in Napa Valley. To respond, we shifted our white winemaking to the cooler Napa AVA across an exciting new series of vineyards where we worked hand-in-hand with each vineyard crew to ensure we picked and crushed only the best quality grapes. 

The Chardonnay grapes were hand-picked cold at night then gently destemmed and pressed into stainless steel tanks to settle for 24 hours before putting into stainless steel tanks to slowly ferment to elevate the fruits and create full texture. It was then put into 100% French Oak barrels for aging and to round out the mouthfeel and add oak flavors.  

This bright straw colored well rounded Chardonnay is balanced with sweet honey flavors that guide you into amazing flavors of citrus-type fruits of lemon, pink grapefruit, and stone fruit and layered with honeysuckle and green apple. It has a beautiful creamy mouthful with an amazing long mouthwatering finish.
